Dr. Baghel does not participate in any insurance plans. This means he is an out-of-network provider and payment will be out of pocket. Please contact your insurance company to determine whether you qualify for out-of-network benefits. Dr. Baghel does not see patients with Medicare.

Insurance companies providing out-of-network coverage may remit full or partial coverage. Dr. Baghel does provide a superbill for patients who qualify for out-of-network coverage. Please contact him directly to discuss his rates. His professional fees are based on average costs in the 12110 zip code.

On a case-by-case basis, Dr. Baghel will see patients undergoing financial hardship.


Payment is due in full at the time of service and is accepted via credit, debit, ACH, or HSA/FSA.

For Attorneys

Dr. Baghel provides Forensic Psychiatry services to attorneys. He has a separate Forensic Consultant Retainer Agreement (“the Agreement”) for this purpose. Counsel has five (5) business days from initial contact with Dr. Baghel to retain his services. Thereafter, Dr. Baghel may make himself to other parties, including opposing counsel of the same case. Dr. Baghel is not retained as an expert unless the Agreement is signed. In addition, he charges an initial fee for consultation, which is three hours of his billable time. This portion of the retainer is non-refundable.

Cancellation Policy

Please let Dr. Baghel know at least 24h in advance of missing an appointment. For any appointments cancelled within 24h, the full appointment will be charged.

If you are running late, Dr. Baghel will hold the appointment but conduct it for the remaining duration. Meaning, 15 minute tardiness for a 50-minute appointment leaves 35 minutes. The full appointment fee applies.

Medication Refills

Please contact Dr. Baghel 7 (seven) days before a refill is due. For prior authorizations, please allow 7 (seven) days.


In the case of an emergency, please call 911, 988, or go to your nearest emergency room.
