Cancellation and No-Show Policy

Free 15-minute consultation. A consultation is a screening call. It doesn’t establish a doctor-patient relationship, and no treatment or prescribing happens on it. There’s no charge for the call, and no charge if you miss it. If you can’t make it, cancel from your confirmation email. After two consultations booked and missed without notice, any further one has to be arranged by phone at (910) 612-6015.

Scheduled appointments. Please give at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule. Call (910) 612-6015, or use the cancel link in your confirmation email if you have one. Voicemail and email both count. Notice is timed from when the message arrives.

Missed appointments and the membership. The $250 monthly membership is billed the same whether or not an appointment is kept, and there’s no separate no-show fee. An appointment missed, or cancelled inside 24 hours, doesn’t extend or credit the membership month. It may be rescheduled into the next open time.

Late arrival. If you’re more than 10 minutes late, the appointment may need to be rescheduled.

Repeated missed appointments. A pattern of missed appointments, or of cancelling inside 24 hours, may lead to a conversation about whether this is the right fit. If care ends, you’ll receive written notice in advance, with instructions for obtaining your records.

Forensic evaluations. Independent evaluations and testimony are billed hourly and sit outside the membership. Cancellation terms are set in the engagement letter.
